Intern - Civil Engineering

Role Overview

Intern - Civil Engineering position with Egis Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a 4-month internship offering practical experience in civil engineering while working on diverse projects alongside experienced professionals.

Role Purpose

Support the engineering team in various aspects of project development from initial design phases through construction monitoring, while gaining practical experience in civil engineering practices and UAE building standards.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation and Administration

• Prepare and organize technical reports, project documentation, and engineering records

Project Collaboration

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project planning and design development

Analysis and Design Support

• Perform calculations and analysis to support design and feasibility studies

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals and principles

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
