Role Overview
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Pre Contract – Buildings at AtkinsRéalis, with positions available across various locations within the UAE.

Role Purpose
To provide commercial contract administration and quantity surveying expertise on newly awarded projects across varying sectors in the UAE, managing contracts, costs, variations and claims throughout the post-contract phase.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Contract Administration
- Manage re-measurement, interim and final account payment applications.
- Assess monthly cost reports and variations.
- Handle contractor claims, Provisional Sums and Prime Costs.
- Oversee Nominated Sub-Contractors management.
- Administer insurances and bonds management.
- Attend design and commercial meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
- Minimum 2 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
- Minimum 2 years background in a consultant and/or client role.
- Experience in one or more of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, infrastructure.
- Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of QS software Cost X or similar required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Good project background and proven technical writing ability in English.
