Role Overview
Interior Designer at Alkaffary Group. This role specializes in furniture and carpet design, developing creative designs and concepts that meet project and client requirements with a strong focus on colors, materials, patterns, and aesthetic details.
Role Purpose
Create innovative furniture and carpet designs that are aesthetically appealing, functional, and suitable for production while meeting client requirements and current market trends.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
- Develop creative designs and concepts for furniture and carpets based on project requirements.
- Design and coordinate carpets in terms of patterns, colors, sizes, and materials.
- Select and coordinate furniture, carpets, colors, materials, and finishes to complement interior spaces.
- Ensure designs are both aesthetically appealing, functional, and suitable for production.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare visual presentations to communicate proposed design concepts.
- Modify designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure accurate execution of the proposed designs.
Supplier & Quality Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding materials, dimensions, colors, and specifications.
- Review samples and ensure that products meet the required design and quality standards.
Professional Development
- Stay updated on current trends in furniture, carpets, interior design, and materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of furniture, carpet design, materials, and color coordination.
- Strong understanding of design principles and visual composition.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar programs.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple design requirements.
