Role Overview
Interior Design Execution Assistant Vice President at AHS Properties. This role oversees the execution phase of interior design projects, ensuring that design concepts are translated into premium-quality finished spaces while working closely with senior management, leading execution teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders to bring high-end designs to life.

To oversee the full execution phase of interior design projects, ensuring exceptional spaces are realized with precision and creativity. The role bridges design vision and on-site delivery, leading teams and coordinating across contractors, consultants, and suppliers to maintain ultra-luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design Execution Leadership
- Oversee the full execution phase of interior design projects, ensuring concepts are translated into premium-quality finished spaces.
- Lead teams of interior designers and site-execution specialists, providing direction and mentoring.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, materials, craftsmanship, and compliance with design intent.
Vendor, Contractor, Consultant and Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and specialist vendors to ensure exceptional workmanship and timely deliveries.
- Review and approve materials, finishes, FF&E, mock-ups, and samples to maintain AHS's ultra-luxury standards.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and multi-disciplinary teams to resolve execution challenges.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including specifications, schedules, budgets, and progress reporting.
- Facilitate client and senior leadership meetings to align expectations and review milestones.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Enforce strict quality-control measures across all design and construction stages.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Innovation & Design Excellence
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, technologies, and luxury interior solutions to maintain AHS's market leadership.
- Support the company's mission to redefine ultra-luxury living across all developments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in interior design with a strong focus on luxury project execution.
- Proven success delivering high-end residential or hospitality projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NCIDQ preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methodologies used in premium interiors.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with ability to interface at executive level between all involved parties including consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
- Solid understanding of FF&E, vendor management, and international procurement workflows.
