Instrumentation Engineer - SMP Opportunity with Saudi Aramco

Role Overview

Instrumentation Engineer position with Saudi Aramco, located in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time opportunity offered through Saeed Raddad Group.

Role Purpose

Deliver instrumentation engineering expertise on large-scale projects by designing, implementing, and overseeing process and control instrumentation systems that meet all project contract requirements, including schedule, cost, and Health, Safety, and Environment standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Demonstrate strong understanding of process and control instrumentation systems and design principles.
• Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for large-scale projects, such as oil and gas facilities.
• Apply proficiency in instrumentation and control system design software.

Project Management & Compliance

• Apply knowledge of Project Management, typically acquired through a combination of professional experience and continuing education.
• Ensure that engineering design, procurement, construction, and project completion comply with project contract requirements, including schedule, cost, Health, Safety, and Environment standards, and company procedures.
• Manage and execute construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.

Quality & Verification

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and tests to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
• Maintain familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering and Project Management execution.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing instrumentation and control systems for large-scale projects, such as oil and gas facilities.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Experience conducting site visits, inspections, and tests to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Extensive knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
• Proficiency in instrumentation and control system design software.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong Project Management capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
