Role Overview
Institutional Research Specialist at Zayed University, Strategy Division. The role is based at the University's campuses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose
Implement institutional research activities including data collection, predictive modeling, dashboard development, and research analysis to support data-driven planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement in line with institutional strategic objectives and data governance and analytics leading practices.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection and Governance
- Implement institutional data collection, governance, and management frameworks in line with approved standards.
- Assist in the development of standardized data reporting protocols under senior specialist supervision.
Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze and validate complex data and prepare professional analytics reports to support data-driven decision-making across the University in line with set policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive business intelligence outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
Predictive Modeling and Dashboards
- Develop predictive data models and forecasting tools in line with strategic and operational planning objectives.
- Develop interactive dashboards in line with performance tracking and data visualization requirements.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct institutional research studies, market trend analysis, and benchmarking activities in accordance with leading practices and research methodologies.
- Design, administer, and analyze surveys and assessments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in analyzing research findings and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to the Senior Specialist.
General Duties
- Perform ad-hoc activities related to the job duties as required by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory position; or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Certification in a relevant field is preferred.
