Role Purpose
Own indirect procurement operations for JD Group in the Middle East across warehouse, equipment, consumables, interior renovation, and administration categories, optimizing procurement processes, controlling costs, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
- Manage the complete procurement business for JD Group in the Middle East across warehouse, equipment, consumables, interior renovation, and administration categories.
- Oversee procurement requests through to supplier sourcing and vendor performance management.
- Formulate and execute procurement plans aligned with business requirements.
Process Optimization
- Optimize the entire procurement process from request initiation through supplier sourcing, planning, execution, and vendor performance management.
- Ensure procurement outcomes consistently meet defined requirements.
Cost Control
- Regularly analyze and sort procurement requirements to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Design effective procurement models aligned with business models.
- Ensure rationality of procurement costs through cost analysis and historical data analysis.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Establish and sustain a sustainable supplier ecosystem.
Data Analysis and Innovation
- Regularly analyze and organize procurement business data.
- Propose continuous innovative improvement suggestions based on data insights.
