IKEA Food Purchaser at IKEA, Cairo Festival City. Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Food Purchaser to join IKEA Food operations in Cairo.

Role Purpose
This role is responsible for managing the procurement and supply chain of all food and beverage products, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to IKEA's quality and purchasing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing
- Execute cost-effective purchasing of food, beverages, and operating supplies according to IKEA Food specifications and requirements
- Collaborate with the IKEA Food Manager and Kitchen Production Manager to determine inventory needs, establish par stock levels, and identify economical ordering quantities
Operations & Supply Chain
- Oversee receiving, storage, and goods issuing processes to maintain proper operational standards
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with safety measures and quality standards
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in food procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing operations
- Strong knowledge of IKEA standards, processes, and operational requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure quality control
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
