I&C Mechanical Technician at NOV. The role is based in a remote location.

Role Purpose
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment on land rigs. Support installation and commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Work under supervision to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of NOV land rig equipment.
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment on land rigs.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform troubleshooting.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Technical Operations
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school graduate or diploma holder.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience as a mechanic.
- Minimum 2 years' work experience in mechanical installation and commissioning, particularly in oil and gas, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Minimum working experience with pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
Skills & Competencies
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work with diversified teams.
- Team player mentality.
