Role Overview
Hygiene Officer at voco™ Riyadh, IHG Hotels & Resorts, located on King Fahad Road in Riyadh's business district, 30 minutes from King Khalid International Airport.

Role Purpose
Maintain hygiene standards across all areas to ensure all food served to guests and employees is free of microbiological, chemical and physical contamination, and that all work areas conform to required hygiene and sanitation levels.
Key Responsibilities
Standards & Compliance
- Propose and maintain minimum hygiene standards in all work areas, kitchens, stores, receiving and disposal areas.
- Ensure all work areas conform to required hygiene and sanitation levels at all times.
- Monitors, assists and performs all procedures and protocols for maintaining an excellent sanitation and hygienic environment.
Documentation & Records
- Maintain effective and efficient records related to the Hotel's sanitation and hygiene efforts and program.
- Formulate and maintain an up-to-date methodology manual that is constantly available for use and review by management.
Leadership & Coordination
- Conduct and chair the HACCP Monthly Meeting.
- Promote effective dissemination and coordination with the rest of the team in the Hotel.
Additional Duties
- Perform special assignments and projects assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Hygiene Officer or Supervisor in a hotel or similar large restaurant complex.
- Hotel industry experience is preferred.

- Self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and working under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player with strong team building skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
