Role Purpose
To install, maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC systems throughout the hotel, ensuring guest comfort, energy efficiency, and system safety while responding to temperature control requests and contributing to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Installation and Maintenance
- Install HVAC systems to hotel specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functional, energy-efficient, and safe.
Troubleshooting and Repair
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions and issues.
- Respond to guest temperature control requests and complaints.
- Execute repairs to restore system functionality.
System Optimization
- Roll out upgrades that enhance HVAC system performance.
- Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements.
- Monitor systems to maintain optimal operation.
Reporting
- Report to the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum three years of experience in HVAC service.
- One to two years of experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
- Relevant HVAC training and certifications.
- Hotel or hospitality background preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
