Role Purpose

The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining all air-conditioning systems of the hotel, performing emergency repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently to support hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Manage all air-conditioning systems of the hotel.
• Carry out routine and planned preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Attend to day-to-day problems with HVAC equipment.
• Be familiar with HVAC layout of the hotel.

Emergency Response & Repairs

• Carry out emergency repairs and adjustments to all air-conditioning equipment and machines.
• Ensure that trouble reports are swiftly dealt with.
• Recommend minor or major repairs and perform duties necessary for completion of the job.

Safety & Compliance

• Carry out statutory and safety checks as instructed.
• Consider economy at all times and ensure all safety practices are followed.

Reporting & Documentation

• Report faults on equipment immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain all relevant log sheets.
• Notify supervisor on job completion.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3–5 years of experience in the same role.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in using HVAC tools and equipment.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and work in challenging environments.
