Role Overview
HSE Trainer at NMDC Group.
Role Purpose
Develop and deliver health, safety and environment training programmes to company personnel. Identify training needs, maintain HSE training resources, and evaluate external training options to support organizational compliance and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
Training Development and Delivery
- Participate in the development of HSE training courses and refresher courses for relevant company personnel.
- Conduct HSE training on procedures including personal safety equipment, toxic and hazardous substances, permit to work, crane operation, risk assessments and accident investigations.
Training Coordination and Quality
- Liaise with the Sr. HSE Trainer for training schedules, dates and training course feedback.
- Identify training gaps and advise to enable development of courses to meet identified needs.
Training Resource Management
- Undertake research into availability and quality of external HSE-oriented training courses.
- Make recommendations on suitability of external courses for incorporation into NPCC HSE training programmes.
- Maintain and update all HSE training equipment, aids and literature including manuals, documents, videos and posters to ensure they are accurate and current.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Science.
- NEBOSH IGC certification.
- 5 years' experience with at least 3 years in the HSE industry as an HSE Trainer at a supervisory level, or an Occupational Safety and Health Diploma from a recognised institute.
