Role Purpose

To assist with the implementation and maintenance of HSE standards across operations by conducting inspections and audits, reviewing permit-to-work documentation, investigating incidents, monitoring contractors, coordinating training, and promoting a strong safety culture in compliance with applicable HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Permits and Risk Management

• Review and approve permit-to-work documentation.
• Review risk assessments and recommend control measures.

Inspections and Audits

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety assessments.

Investigations and Corrective Action

• Investigate incidents and support corrective action implementation.

Training and Safety Awareness

• Coordinate HSE training and maintain training records.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Contractor and Emergency Management

• Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Support emergency preparedness exercises and drills.

Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative and operational support to the HSE function.

Qualifications & Experience

• NEBOSH IGC certification or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of operational work experience.
• Previous HSE experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
