Role Purpose

Develop and implement a Health and Safety Management System in line with Qatar's legislative framework and the requirements of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Lead HSE governance and operational safety across construction site activities as a key team member.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment Management

• Create and maintain HSE processes and procedures for safe construction site operations.
• Perform all Health, Safety and Environment responsibilities in accordance with company HSE management system and codes.
• Conduct risk analysis, job hazard analysis and job safety analysis.

Training & Communication

• Prepare and deliver training and technical presentations to staff and clients.
• Train team members on HSE codes and practices.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Continuously monitor safety inspections and issues as they occur on site.
• Make reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Conduct accident and incident investigation and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• NEBOSH qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety in Health and Safety).
• Minimum 15 years' relevant construction HSE experience.
• Minimum 5 years' Middle East working experience.
• Previous experience working in Construction Consultancy is essential.
• Capable Auditor with sound knowledge of ISO 18001, 9001 and ISO 14001 (preferably certified by an International Accreditation Body).
• Previous experience performing tasks outlined in Key Responsibilities section.
