Role Overview
HSE Inspector - Electrical at Samsung E&A. This role is responsible for pre and post inspections of all equipment, temporary camp and office site connections during construction for electrical integrity and compliance with project and international standards.

Role Purpose
To conduct electrical inspections of equipment, temporary installations and site connections throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards while identifying and preventing potential risks.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection Planning and Documentation
- Establish random and periodic inspection plans and maintain record forms as per project requirements and international codes and standards.
- Ensure inspection status is controlled through efficient tools.
- Ensure a periodic inspection schedule is established, communicated and complied with by sub-contractors.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensure all equipment complies with electrical standards.
- Ensure load bearing capacities for each electrical equipment complies.
- Ensure only connections and equipment used are complying with industrial standards.
- Be thorough with specifications to be met during construction phase for all temporary electrical connections and equipment.
Risk Management and Corrective Action
- Be proactive and strive to find potential risks and take preventive actions.
- Directly report all deviations noticed to direct EHSS reporting authority and executing team for implemented corrective actions.
Inspection Execution and Certification
- Supervise, inspect and sign inspection certificates for all equipment, panels and devices in compliance with the established Project guidelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work hand in hand with different teams and personnel on the assigned task.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in projects as Electrical Inspector or Supervisor.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in construction field.
- Project-based experience in or with EHSS gained in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Relevant competency and International Certifications as applicable.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in electrical standards and specifications.
- Writing and speaking skills in English.
