HSE Inspector

Role Purpose

Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on active construction sites in Abu Dhabi by conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Inspections & Hazard Identification

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify HSE hazards and non-compliance
• Monitor contractor compliance with HSE plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and project safety standards

Incident Management & Investigation

• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety violations
• Support emergency response planning and drills

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare HSE inspection reports and corrective action plans
• Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation

Training & Engagement

• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification required
• 4+ years of HSE inspection experience on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent observational and reporting skills
• Fluency in English required
