Role Overview
HSE Engineer at Archirodon Group N.V., based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role supports implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs on a major Oil & Gas EPC project, ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.

Role Purpose
Lead the implementation of comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs across the project site, ensuring full compliance with ADNOC Group requirements and supporting a team of HSE professionals to maintain the highest standards of safety culture and performance.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Leadership & Team Management
- Lead a team of HSE professionals including HSE Engineers, Senior HSE Officers, and HSE Officers.
HSE Systems & Compliance
- Demonstrate strong understanding of HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
- Maintain sound understanding of HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.
Audit & Assessment
- Develop broad knowledge and experience in audit processes.
- Demonstrate competency in SSOW (PTW/WMS/Risk Assessment etc.).
Planning & Procedures
- Develop HSE plans and Emergency response procedures/plans.
Incident Management
- Analyze incidents and apply root cause analysis techniques.
- Conduct incident investigations using established techniques.
Hazard Management
- Maintain awareness of H2S hazards and control measures.
Communication
- Speak, read, and write English with good communication skills.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering, Science, or HSE discipline from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC Group).
- Any other HSE certifications considered at ADNOC Group discretion.
- Lead auditor certification in ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in HSE in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industries.
- Minimum 3 years in a Lead HSE role on Construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects or operations.
- ADNOC approval required.
