Role Overview
HR Manager at IHG Hotels and Resorts. The role supports a people-powered business by creating an enabling and empowering environment that brings out the best in the team and delivers memorable guest experiences.
Role Purpose
Manage HR programmes and initiatives to foster a positive work environment, ensure employee compliance and satisfaction, and empower colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences that bring the brand to life.
Key Responsibilities
Culture and Employee Engagement
- Create programmes to foster a positive work environment for every employee.
- Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Support and administer an annual team member satisfaction survey.
- Promote a positive team culture aligned with brand values.
Onboarding and Administration
- Welcome and orient new members of staff.
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employee laws, policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 3 years' related experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Some college courses in Human Resources, Employment Law or related field preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English required.
- Other languages may be preferred.
