Role Overview
HQ Financial Analyst at Abbott, Heart Failure Division, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a fixed-term contract role for 1 year.

Role Purpose
The Financial Analyst will support the HF HQ Finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and tracking performance. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the field of finance.
Key Responsibilities
Database and Automation
- Assist in maintaining HF HQ financial databases.
- Automate recurring templates and submissions.
- Automate Geo template consolidation.
- Maintain the automation and check library as processes change.
Reporting and Analytics
- Build the dashboard suite covering revenue by country, monthly performance, and GM tracker.
- Perform independent checks on close and forecast output before submission.
- Provide analytics support across the close, LBE, and MDD cycles.
Analysis and Collaboration
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate information and timely submissions.
- Support the preparation of presentations for senior management.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior internship or work experience in finance is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
