Role Overview
Housekeeping Team Leader at Hilton. This role is based at a Hilton hotel property and focuses on leading the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness and guest experiences.
Role Purpose
As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel while spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise the housekeeping team and oversee team members to ensure cleanliness and quality standards in guest rooms
- Train team members on standards and procedures
- Schedule team members to ensure adequate coverage
Inspections & Quality Assurance
- Conduct routine checks of checkout rooms
- Perform spot inspections of occupied rooms
- Review service areas, storage, and corridors to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
Maintenance & Coordination
- Report and promptly follow up on any maintenance issues or facility concerns
- Coordinate maintenance needs with relevant departments
Special Projects & Inventory
- Schedule and supervise periodic deep cleaning and special housekeeping initiatives
- Maintain stock levels of housekeeping supplies
- Ensure proper maintenance of housekeeping equipment
Guest Service
- Ensure excellent service delivery to all guests
- Handle VIP and special guest requests
- Delight guests through attentive hospitality
