Role Overview

Role Purpose

Supervise and support the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleaning and presentation standards across guest rooms and public areas.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist with the daily allocation of work, monitor productivity, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Lead the team and develop diverse staff members.

Quality Assurance & Inspections

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold high-quality standards.

Guest Service & Resolution

• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, health and safety regulations, and cleanliness procedures.

Inventory & Supply Management

• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities.
• Report shortages and assist with inventory control.

Operations & Maintenance Coordination

• Assist with deep cleaning projects and support the team during peak occupancy periods as required.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure guest rooms and facilities remain in excellent condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience, including supervisory experience in a hotel environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
