Role Purpose
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and completion of assignments.
- Train, coach, and support team members in maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
Room and Area Inspection
- Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
- Ensure rooms are released on time and communicate room status with Front Office.
Maintenance and Supplies Management
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues and room defects.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, guest amenities, and equipment.
- Ensure proper handling of lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
Guest and Compliance Relations
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
Operations Support
- Assist the Housekeeping management team with daily operations and departmental requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in Housekeeping within a hotel environment.
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

- Good communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Positive, hands-on, and guest-focused attitude.
