Role Purpose

To oversee daily housekeeping operations and supervise a team of 4–5 Room Attendants, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guest service across all assigned areas. You will deliver consistent professional, warm, and engaging service that exceeds IHG brand standards and luxury five-star hospitality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Guest Experience

• Provide professional, warm, and engaging service that ensures every guest feels like a VIP from arrival.
• Deliver experiences that go beyond cleanliness and anticipate guest needs.

Daily Operations & Team Supervision

• Oversee daily housekeeping department operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Supervise and support a team of 4–5 Room Attendants, both individually and as a coordinated team.
• Assist in creating efficient departmental schedules that meet operational demands and promote team well-being.
• Actively participate in daily briefings, warm-up sessions, and departmental meetings.
• Keep detailed records of team progress and development.
• Ensure the team is always prepared and aware of the day's priorities.

Quality Assurance & Inspections

• Conduct daily inspections of vacant, checked-out, and occupied guest rooms.
• Perform daily deep-cleaning and housekeeping quality audits for each Room Attendant.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, luxury service expectations, and departmental SOPs.
• Carry out weekly Focus Point inspections to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and guestroom readiness.
• Conduct thorough inspections of Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) rooms.
• Identify and report maintenance snags, defects, and deep-cleaning requirements for timely resolution.

Standards & Environment Management

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across lift landings, elevator doors, guest corridors, chute rooms, and garbage rooms within assigned floor areas.
• Ensure all assigned areas consistently meet luxury five-star hospitality standards with strong attention to detail, cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and guest comfort.

Policy & Safety Compliance

• Enforce and uphold the hotel's policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure guests and colleagues enjoy a safe, healthy, and pristine environment.
• Identify and report any maintenance needs to the Engineering department for swift resolution without affecting the guest experience.

Shift Flexibility

• Maintain full operational flexibility and availability to work across Morning, Afternoon/Evening, and Night shifts according to business requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a housekeeping supervisor at a five-star hotel.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.

Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Opera PMS.
• Sharp eye for detail and perfection in every task.
• Ability to motivate, guide, and inspire a high-performing team.
