Role Overview

Housekeeping Attendant (Guest Environment Expert) at Marriott International.

Role Purpose

Build memorable and unique guest experiences by maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Guest Environment Experts are skilled in housekeeping functions and empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done to support excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Requests

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.

Room & Space Cleaning

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to high standards.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all public spaces throughout the hotel.
• Deliver freshly made beds and clean rooms.

Operations & Inventory

• Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Perform other similar housekeeping responsibilities as needed.

Standards & Safety

• Ensure a safe workplace at all times.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Uphold quality standards in all work.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and professional communications.

Key Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Take a hands-on approach to work.
