Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

Housekeeping Attendant at Accor. This role maintains guest rooms and common areas to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Role Purpose

Deliver flawless housekeeping service with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all guest rooms, bathrooms, and associated areas meet hotel standards and guest expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning

• Clean floors, walls, furniture, and cupboards in guest rooms.
• Clean patios and furniture.
• Clean guest bathrooms and restock linen and amenities.
• Collect garbage from all receptacles in guest rooms.
• Strip and remake beds according to hotel standard.
• Clean and check lamps and light fixtures.
• Clean and fill ice buckets.
• Check and replace hotel collateral and stationery as necessary.

Guest Service & Communication

• Attend to any extra requirements of guests.
• Be polite and courteous to guests and staff at all times.
• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Maintain ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Promptly inform the Supervisor of guest comments or complaints.

Maintenance & Reporting

• Promptly inform the Supervisor of any defects or maintenance work required in guest rooms.

Equipment & Space Management

• Ensure that trolleys and cubby holes are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that all garbage is removed from the trolley, corridor, and cubby hole before going off duty.
• Ensure that all linen caddies are placed in their original position on corridors before going off duty.

General Duties

• Fulfill any other reasonable requests made by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience as a housekeeping attendant.
• Writing, reading, and oral proficiency in the English language.

Skills & Competencies

• Well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Additional language proficiency is an added advantage.
