Role Purpose

Maintain and enhance guest accommodations and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation, ensuring every guest experiences the luxurious and welcoming environment that defines the InterContinental brand.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms to Five Star standards.
• Make beds and change linens regularly.
• Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture throughout guest rooms.
• Replenish room supplies including toiletries, towels, and beverages.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or missing items in guest rooms to the supervisor.

Public Area Maintenance

• Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and elevators.

Guest Service

• Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with friendly and professional service.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Additional Projects

• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 1 year of experience working in a Five Star hotel industry in a housekeeping environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
