Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Team Leader at Marriott. This position leads housekeeping operations to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel and create memorable guest experiences.

Role Purpose

Guest Environment Experts are skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions and are empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done. The role exists to ensure the spaces in the hotel help create a great guest experience through meticulous attention to cleanliness, guest requests, and hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Build experiences that are memorable and unique for hotel guests.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.
• Clean rooms and public spaces to uphold quality standards.
• Stock housekeeping carts.

Workplace Standards

• Ensure a safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Uphold quality standards.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Complete other reasonable job duties as requested.

Skills & Competencies

• Skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Hands-on work approach.
