Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel while creating memorable and unique guest experiences.

Role Purpose

Guest Environment Experts deliver skilled housekeeping services across a wide range of functions, empowered to move throughout their space and take ownership of what needs to be done. The role ensures that all hotel spaces—guest rooms and public areas—support a great guest experience through consistent cleanliness, attention to detail, and responsiveness to guest needs.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Requests

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest needs with a hands-on approach.

Room & Space Cleaning

• Clean guest rooms and maintain their appearance to hotel standards.
• Clean and maintain public spaces throughout the hotel.
• Make beds freshly and to specification.

Housekeeping Operations

• Stock cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other similar housekeeping responsibilities as needed.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure a safe workplace at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Uphold quality standards in all work.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
