Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott. This is a Guest Environment Expert position responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.

Role Purpose

Build a memorable and unique guest experience by maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of hotel spaces. Guest Environment Experts are skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions and empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Requests

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.

Housekeeping Operations

• Clean rooms and public spaces throughout the hotel.
• Stock housekeeping carts.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.

Safety & Standards

• Ensure a safe work place.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Uphold quality standards.
• Ensure uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Hands-on approach to work.

Additional Information

Guest Environment Experts will be on their feet and moving around throughout their shift. Reasonable job duties as requested are part of the role.
