Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott. This position involves maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of hotel spaces to create a memorable and unique guest experience.

Role Purpose

To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel while delivering exceptional guest service. The role empowers team members to take initiative, respond to guest requests, and ensure all spaces—guest rooms and public areas—contribute to a great guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Requests

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to needs identified during daily operations.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean guest rooms and public spaces to hotel standards.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Stock and organize cleaning carts.

Operations & Standards

• Ensure a safe workplace at all times.
• Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
• Uphold quality standards in all work.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Complete other reasonable job duties as requested.

Additional Information

Guest Environment Experts will stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. The role requires hands-on work including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
