Hotel Cleanliness Expert

Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel while creating a memorable and unique guest experience.

Role Purpose

To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of hotel spaces through skilled housekeeping functions and to deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring all areas of the hotel support a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room & Space Maintenance

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds and maintaining appearance.
• Clean and maintain public spaces throughout the hotel.
• Move about the hotel space to address cleaning and maintenance needs as they arise.

Guest Service & Requests

• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest needs related to room cleanliness and comfort.

Cart & Supply Management

• Stock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and materials.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.

General Duties

• Perform other similar responsibilities and reasonable job duties as requested.
• Maintain a safe workplace and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards in all work performed.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.

Skills & Competencies

• Wide range of housekeeping functions and techniques.
• Physical capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
