Role Purpose

The Guest Environment Expert is skilled in a wide range of housekeeping functions and is empowered to move about their space and do what needs to be done to help create a great guest experience. The role ensures that the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Environment Management

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the whole hotel.
• Deliver guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Clean guest rooms and public spaces to luxury standards.
• Stock and manage housekeeping carts.
• Perform other similar responsibilities as needed.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure a safe workplace at all times.
• Follow company policies and procedures consistently.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Uphold quality standards in all work output.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Learn and exemplify the Gold Standards, including the Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values.

Additional Information

Physical demands: Guest Environment Experts will be on their feet and moving around for extended periods (stand, sit, or walk for extended time). The role requires a hands-on approach to work including the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance. Reasonable job duties as requested by management are part of this role.
