Role Overview

Hotel Cleanliness Expert at Marriott. This role is based at a hotel property (location varies by assignment).

Role Purpose

Build memorable and unique guest experiences by maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Guest Environment Experts take a hands-on approach to housekeeping operations, empowered to move about their space and address whatever needs to be done to support excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room & Public Space Cleaning

• Clean and maintain the appearance of guest rooms and all public spaces throughout the hotel.
• Deliver freshly made beds and ensure rooms meet quality standards.

Guest Service & Requests

• Respond to and fulfill guest requests promptly.
• Contribute to creating a great guest experience through attention to detail and professionalism.

Housekeeping Operations

• Stock and manage cleaning carts with necessary supplies.
• Perform a wide range of housekeeping functions across the hotel.
• Complete other reasonable job duties as assigned.

Standards & Safety

• Maintain a safe workplace for yourself and others.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Uphold quality standards consistently.
• Maintain professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Additional Information

Guest Environment Experts will be on their feet and moving around regularly (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods). The role requires a hands-on approach including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
