Role Purpose
Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience while managing the host stand and ensuring the dining room meets Four Seasons' standards of cleanliness and preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
Operations
- Manage the host stand and review the reservation book.
- Make recommendations as to the setup of table sections.
- Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements.
- Check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set.
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.
Qualifications & Experience
- One to two years' previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet.
- Previous employment experience within a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
- Strong communication skills.
