Role Overview

Hostess at Hilton. You will deliver exceptional hospitality by greeting guests, seating them, and ensuring memorable experiences throughout their stay.

Role Purpose

As a Food & Beverage Hostess, you spread the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make every guest's stay exceptional. You work on behalf of guests and in partnership with team members to provide the highest degree of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Extend a warm welcome to guests as they arrive.
• Assist guests to their seats.
• Give guests a warm send-off as they depart.
• Effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner by listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy, and providing positive and proactive solutions.
• Remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.

Operations

• Maintain knowledge of restaurant operations, including appropriate staffing levels, service equipment, and guest relations.
• Move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
• Work on your own or in teams as required.

Communication

• Comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders, and similar written materials in English.
• Conduct small employee meetings to impart new information in English.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or industry is advantageous.
• Degree in a relevant area is advantageous.
