Role Purpose
To safely and efficiently operate heavy-duty vehicles for the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely deliveries, compliance with traffic and safety regulations, proper vehicle maintenance, and accurate documentation while supporting operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement & Delivery
- Inspect all vehicles before start of delivery or movement.
- Exercise proper care in handling new vehicles to reduce repair costs and delays.
- Exercise due care in loading and unloading of vehicles on car carriers to avoid transit damages and maintain safety norms.
- Follow delivery procedures and maintain accurate vehicle movement records.
Equipment Care
- Operate company vehicles with due care to avoid damages and minimize maintenance costs.
- Follow all traffic rules and road safety norms to avoid road accidents and maintain company image.
Communications
- Communicate effectively with customers and showrooms on delivery issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School education minimum.
- Five or more years of hands-on experience in driving heavy-duty trailers.
Skills & Competencies
- Valid UAE Driving License categories No. 3 and No. 4 required.
- Strong interpersonal relations and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work under stress and adapt to change.
- Willingness to work any shift and extended hours as required.
- Understanding of the importance of superior customer service.
- Knowledge of roadside repairs.
- Oral communication skills in English, Arabic, or Hindi.
