Role Overview

Heart of House Specialist - Stewarding at Marriott Al Forsan. This is a utility cleaning position supporting vital hotel operations.

Role Purpose

Support hotel functions across multiple departments by maintaining clean facilities, equipment, and supplies. Ensure guests enjoy fresh linens, spotless dining ware, and hygienic environments throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Linen Operations

• Prepare fresh, clean linen for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens across the hotel as needed.
• Work across departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to support cleaning needs.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure a safe workplace for all associates.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager.
• Maintain professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.

Quality and Teamwork

• Uphold quality standards and ensure adherence to quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments.
• Support the team in reaching common goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.

Physical Duties

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications & Experience

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
