Role Overview

Healthcare Quality Control Officer at Tamer Group.

Role Purpose

Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, monitor temperature conditions throughout the supply chain, maintain quality records, and ensure all goods meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements before distribution to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspection

• Inspect all incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality standards as documented in the receiving checklist.
• Download receiving temperature data loggers and send to the supplier, following up until results are received.
• Update the status of received shipments in the tracking file for reference when products are released in the quality release system.

Storage & Transportation Compliance

• Check that vehicles and trucks used for loading goods to customers comply with quality requirements.
• Ensure goods are stored under appropriate conditions before loading into vehicles and during transit.
• Provide and set up necessary temperature reading devices for each trip according to shipment requirements.
• Monitor temperature readings for all trips from warehouses across the kingdom through the special monitoring system for carriers and company-owned vehicles.
• Daily check the effectiveness of the company's vehicle tracking devices.

Temperature & Warehouse Monitoring

• Monitor the temperature of all company warehouses, download readings monthly, and take necessary action and communicate with the concerned person in case of deviation from required temperature.
• Conduct and report temperature validations of warehouses and vehicles based on the approved annual plan.
• Maintain all temperature records properly for each shipment, inbound and outbound.

Quality Reporting & Compliance

• Report any temperature excursion, damage in shipment, or deviations in requirements to the Quality Assurance Specialist.
• Ensure that all shipments that SFDA or Vendors request to hold are reserved in the system and in the quarantine area.

General

• Undertake any other duties or assignments as required from time to time by management.

• Supply Chain, RA, and CBD departments

External

• Transportation companies and vendors

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum educational requirement.
• One to three years of experience preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations.
• Basic knowledge of quality practices.
• Understanding of quality standards and good distribution practice.
