Head of Planning - Food at Al Futtaim Group, leading the planning function across MENA and Asia for food retail operations.

Role Purpose
Establish and lead the Food Planning function across MENA and Asia, creating governance frameworks and consistent planning standards to drive operational excellence in forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization across all food categories.
Key Responsibilities
Planning Function Leadership
- Lead and establish the Food Planning function across MENA and Asia.
- Create governance frameworks and consistent planning standards.
- Build a best-in-class planning function supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Platform & Technology Strategy
- Own the RELEX platform strategy.
- Ensure maximum business value delivery through forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
Performance Management
- Manage forecasting, replenishment, and inventory planning performance across all food categories and markets.
- Hold accountability for availability, waste reduction, and inventory investment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, Logistics, Technology, and M&S UK teams.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple markets and regions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience leading planning functions in retail or food distribution environments.
- Advanced knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Experience implementing or managing planning software platforms, including RELEX or similar solutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership capability.
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple markets and regions.
