Role Overview
Head of Finance at Elesta, a Family Office, reporting to lead financial strategy and drive financial initiatives for the organization.
Role Purpose
Oversee the financial health of the organization by shaping financial strategy, managing risks, and optimizing financial performance while leading and developing the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, manage, and develop the finance team (3–4 people), fostering a high-performance culture aligned with company goals.
- Participate in executive-level strategy development and provide insights based on financial data.
Financial Strategy & Planning
- Formulate and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and operational efficiencies.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Analysis & Monitoring
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to guide decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key financial metrics and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks proactively.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
Stakeholder Relations
- Develop relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are preferred.
- Previous experience at a Big Four firm or in investment banking.
- 8+ years of experience in finance management roles, with a proven track record of strategic financial leadership.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing teams.
- Effective communication abilities to present financial information to executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound financial decisions and maintain discretion with confidential information.
- Fluency in Russian and English.
