Head of Asset Management & AI Transformation at MaxAccelerate Technology Group. Remote, global role serving multi-industry clients.

Role Purpose
Lead the definition and delivery of AI-driven asset management solutions by translating deep operational knowledge—including RCM frameworks, preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies, workforce planning, and spare parts lifecycle considerations—into structured AI use cases and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Assessment
- Work closely with Heads of Maintenance, Engineering Leaders, and Operations teams to understand maintenance strategies and maturity.
- Assess preventive versus reactive maintenance ratios and labour utilisation across client operations.
- Evaluate spare parts management, inventory control, and workforce efficiency practices.
AI Use Case Definition & Structure
- Define and structure AI use cases that address reduction in reactive maintenance.
- Optimise preventive maintenance schedules through data-driven approaches.
- Apply AI to labour efficiency, workforce planning, and spare parts forecasting.
- Design solutions for cost reduction and asset lifecycle optimisation.
Proof of Concept Development & Delivery
- Develop and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that validate operational improvements, cost savings, and performance uplift.
- Ensure AI solutions integrate effectively with EAM/CMMS platforms, particularly IBM Maximo, and align with real operational workflows.
Requirements Translation & Solution Scoping
- Translate business requirements into clear scope of works for DataMax AI R&D teams.
- Build clear ROI models ensuring every solution delivers measurable impact across maintenance costs, asset uptime, labour efficiency, and inventory and working capital.
Client Support & Adoption
- Support clients in adopting solutions that improve their infrastructure, operations, and long-term asset strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background in Asset Management, Maintenance, or Engineering leadership.
- Deep understanding of Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and reliability frameworks.
- Proven experience with preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Knowledge of workforce and labour optimisation practices.
- Experience in spare parts and inventory management.
- Experience working with EAM/CMMS platforms, ideally IBM Maximo.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to translate operational challenges into structured, solution-driven approaches.
- Commercial awareness and ability to link technical improvements to cost and performance outcomes.
- Understanding that maintenance strategies must be structured, measurable, and optimised.
- Knowledge that systems such as IBM Maximo and other EAM platforms must deliver actionable insight.
- Understanding that AI must be applied in a way that drives tangible outcomes across cost, labour, and asset performance.
