Role Purpose

Maintain reliable hardware and seamless software systems essential to daily resort operations by ensuring GRMS equipment is installed correctly, operating efficiently, and protected from cyberthreats.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Operate, maintain, and program all GRMS components and cabling
• Ensure optimum performance of all GRMS equipment and servers by following preventive maintenance routines
• Evaluate and respond appropriately to equipment usage and energy efficiency
• Complete all work orders with due diligence
• Maintain a daily logbook highlighting problems, solutions, and activities
• Maintain GRMS shop drawings and programming files for each room type
• Maintain equipment catalogue and tagging directories

Health & Safety

• Ensure all work follows safe work practices and procedures
• Respond immediately to all work requests concerning Health and Safety
• Maintain health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area
• Report and document potential safety hazards
• Participate as directed in the emergency response team

Guest & Stakeholder Service

• Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner
• Complete tasks as assigned by the IT Director or its delegate

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science from a reputed institution
• Previous experience demonstrating strong analytical and statistical skills, including use of spreadsheets
• Strong knowledge of hotel technology principles and practices
• Familiarity with organization design models and decision-making frameworks

Skills & Competencies

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective presentation, communication, consulting and interpersonal/consensus-building skills
• Ability to provide information to management and colleagues
