Role Overview
Greenhouse Supervisor at Burjline Builders, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Full-time position.
Role Purpose
Oversee daily greenhouse operations, crop production, and farm activities with hands-on expertise in greenhouse farming and strong knowledge of crop management.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Supervision
- Supervise daily greenhouse operations and farming activities.
- Supervise farm workers and allocate daily tasks.
- Coordinate with farm management to achieve production targets.
Crop Management
- Monitor crop growth, irrigation, fertilization, and plant health.
- Manage planting, harvesting, pruning, and other crop activities.
- Identify and report pests, diseases, and crop-related issues.
Environmental & Systems Management
- Monitor greenhouse temperature, humidity, ventilation, and environmental conditions.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of irrigation and greenhouse systems.
Standards & Safety
- Ensure proper use of fertilizers, pesticides, tools, and equipment.
- Follow agricultural, safety, and quality standards.
Reporting & Record-Keeping
- Maintain production records and prepare daily and weekly reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in greenhouse farming or agricultural production.
- Hands-on experience with greenhouse crops, irrigation, fertigation, and crop management.
- Experience supervising farm workers and daily operations.
- Saudi or GCC agricultural experience preferred.
