Role Overview
Graphic Designer at University of Kalba. The position is based at the university and focuses on creating visual and creative materials that reflect the institution's identity and enhance its image both internally and externally.
Role Purpose
Design visual and creative materials that reflect the university's identity and enhance its institutional image both internally and externally. This includes promotional, advertising, and digital content tailored for various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Print & Digital Content Creation
- Design official print materials such as brochures, booklets, reports, and posters.
- Create visual content for social media platforms and the university website.
Brand & Visual Identity
- Develop visual identities for university events and conferences.
- Align and execute designs in accordance with the university's approved visual identity.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with media and marketing teams to produce effective advertising campaigns.
- Deliver creative designs that meet the needs of various university departments.
- Revise designs based on feedback from relevant departments.
Asset Management & Development
- Archive design files and materials in an organized and accessible manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design software and tools.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Understanding of design principles for print and digital publishing.
- High creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
