Graduate Stakeholder Engineer_(Emirati National)

Role Overview

WSP Middle East is seeking a Graduate Stakeholder Engineer (Emirati National) to support relationships with stakeholders involved in Roads & Highways projects. You will focus on supporting effective communication, collaboration, and alignment among various parties, contributing to successful project delivery and positive outcomes for all stakeholders.

Role Purpose

To serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies on Roads & Highways infrastructure projects, ensuring clear communication, regulatory compliance, and positive stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

• Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders, including government entities, local authorities, community representatives, and project partners.

Communication Facilitation

• Assist as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and progress.

Regulatory Compliance

• Develop an understanding of local regulations, policies, and standards related to Roads & Highways projects, ensuring project activities align with legal and regulatory requirements.

Conflict Resolution

• Support in addressing conflicts or issues that arise between stakeholders and project teams, finding mutually beneficial resolutions to maintain project momentum and positive relationships.

Public Engagement

• Assist in organizing and facilitating public consultations, meetings, and workshops to gather feedback, address concerns, and build community support for infrastructure projects.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to project management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Understanding of local regulations, policies, and stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of Roads & Highways projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and effectively manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
