Role Overview
Graduate Process Engineer position with Wood PLC, based full time in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is restricted to UAE Nationals and offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while developing skills and gaining valuable industry experience.

Role Purpose
To provide graduate-level engineering expertise on diverse and challenging projects delivered to high-profile clients in the energy sector, while developing technical competence in chemical engineering design, analysis, and execution in compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Analysis
- Apply graduate-level understanding of engineering practices, design methods and calculations.
- Comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to chemical engineering discipline.
- Demonstrate the application of theory in a practical context.
- Comprehend, interpret and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
Standards & Compliance
- Apply graduate-level competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution.
- Maintain graduate-level knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
- Demonstrate awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments.
Technical Execution
- Execute assigned tasks with graduate-level competence in own discipline.
- Maintain graduate-level knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area.
Communication & Documentation
- Prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.
Technical Systems
- Demonstrate good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with relevant specialist engineering software.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Internship or relevant project experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
