Role Overview

Graduate Engineer position at AtkinsRéalis for a key project based in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Role Purpose

Support the project team in daily technical activities and engineering tasks while gaining strong exposure across engineering disciplines. The role provides hands-on learning, mentorship from experienced engineers, and a solid foundation for developing technical and professional skills within a dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Design & Documentation

• Assist in the development of engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior team members.

Project Support & Delivery

• Support day-to-day project activities, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and preparation of engineering deliverables.
• Contribute to delivering project milestones.

Collaboration & Coordination

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including design, project controls, construction, and stakeholder management—to support project progress and alignment.
• Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and coordination meetings to gain insight into engineering processes and project requirements.

Quality Assurance

• Contribute to quality assurance activities by ensuring work complies with engineering standards, safety guidelines, and project procedures.

Reporting & Communication

• Provide support in preparing presentations, reports, and updates for internal teams or external stakeholders.

Professional Development

• Engage in continuous learning to develop professional and technical competencies relevant to the project and engineering discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with GPA 3.5 and above (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture or related discipline).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in engineering design and project delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools is an advantage (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MATLAB).
