Role Overview

Graduate Engineer - Mechanical (Dry Utilities) with WSP in the Middle East, based in the UAE. This role is for Emirati National candidates only.

Role Purpose

To support the design and delivery of dry utilities infrastructure projects while gaining hands-on technical experience, mentorship, and structured training alongside senior engineers and technical specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Documentation

• Support the design and documentation of dry utilities systems and infrastructure projects.
• Assist in preparing drawings, design calculations, reports, and specifications under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist in reviewing local authority regulations and standards to ensure compliance in design outputs.

Coordination and Integration

• Participate in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of mechanical designs within wider infrastructure projects.

Innovation and Sustainability

• Conduct research and support the development of innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.

Quality and Governance

• Contribute to quality assurance processes and help maintain project documentation.

Professional Development

• Engage in training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE National with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interest in utilities design and infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of engineering principles, with basic understanding of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
