Role Overview
Golf Professional position based with wasl (Viya), UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group. The role is part of the Academy department and reports to the Operations Manager and Academy Services Manager.

Role Purpose
Redefine the way people learn to play golf by leveraging fun and interactive technology. As a PGA certified Golf Instructor, help students develop and practice the fundamentals of their golf swing in a fun, low-pressure environment to improve guest performance.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Instruction
- Deliver first-class teaching service across a wide range of clientele and guest types.
- Provide individual and semi-private lessons.
- Work with all guest types from juniors to avid golfers to provide appropriate lessons.
- Schedule and execute guest lessons.
- Utilize swing analysis technology, learning theories, and teaching aids in instruction.
Coaching & Equipment Management
- Manage and maintain a coaching diary.
- Assist with club repair and general maintenance of golf equipment.
Facility Operations
- Walk the Tee Line on all levels during peak times when not engaged in golf instruction.
Programs & Events
- Assist in execution of leagues, tournaments and player development series.
- Assist in management and execution of summer camps such as Topgolf Academy.
- Run leagues, member events and other tournaments on the Teeline.
- Provide support to Senior Academy Leadership for leagues setup and all aspects of hosting the league from marketing to sales to execution.
- Work with the events team to promote lessons at events.
- Help with events such as game explanations, hosting and lessons.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Grow the golf services platform at the venue through marketing and community outreach.
- Assist with program marketing and community outreach.
Service Standards & Compliance
- Be aware of and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision and Core Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
- Be aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
- Read, understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- Immediately report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) to the IT Service Desk.
Additional Duties
- Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organisational growth.
- Represent the department or a group in various committees such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee or Sport Committee, or projects.
- Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- PGA certification required.
